Transport

School transport is arranged centrally by North Ayrshire Council and not by the school.

Transport needs are determined as part of an additional needs assessment and can be recommended by Education Service Managers, or Health and Social Care Partnership Managers.

If you require to discuss any aspect of school transport, for your child, please see the below information to enable you to speak to the correct team:

What the School team can help with:

  • Requests for changes to transport
  • Medical concerns
  • Pupil Transport Assistants
  • Conduct of pupils on transport

What the Transport Hub team can help with:

  • Concerns in relation to the conduct of a driver or escort,
  • Timekeeping
  • Uninformed change of driver, attendant and/or vehicles
